Are you applying for a Spain Student Visa? Take a breath and come along with me as I guide you in this process. Below are the different consulates in the USA and how you can schedule an appointment for a student visa for Spain. I have included the links to their respective websites for additional information as the different consulates require different documentation. You must have all the required documentation before booking your visa appointment. Be sure you have all the required documents as you can not reschedule your appointment if not all documents are ready when it is time for your appointment. Visa applications should be submitted well ahead of the start date of your intended study programs, as the process involves consultations with other authorities. Please note that applications should not be submitted more than 180 days before your planned travel date. Note that when you apply for your visa, the consulate keeps your passport. Be sure to not plan any international travel while your visa is pending. You will not have access to your passport.

- Appointment Process: To secure an appointment, you should reach out exclusively to cog.boston.vis@maec.es once your application is fully prepared and aligns with the outlined requirements on the website.

- Appointment Process: Schedule an appointment by emailing cog.chicago.nac@maec.es not more than 90 days before your start date.

The consulate will promptly send you an email outlining the necessary documentation and details needed to secure an official appointment. It’s important to note that once an appointment is confirmed, it cannot be changed, so ensure that all your documents are fully prepared before arranging one.
